Working with clinical data in all types of studies
This year, the traditional event was dedicated to the changing clinical research landscape. The agenda covered the role of CROs and partnerships, integration of clinical research and clinical care, and different issues of patients’ participation in clinical trials.
Our pre-PCT networking event kicked off the conference of this year. We spent a nice evening with a friendly chat at Gollem café. At the conference, our business development team of Anfisa Shakhova and Jay Rugiero represented Data MATRIX with a booth. They welcomed guests with a draw of a Champagne bottle, which was presented to colleagues from Finland. See you at the next PCT!
With almost 5.000 delegates attending the event, BIO-Europe in Berlin last week was the place to be for companies like us.
BIO has one of the best partnering systems in the industry and it is easy to prepare the event in advance. We had secured over 20 meetings prior to the event. Our team mainly met with CROs during the 3 days in Berlin, as Data MATRIX can be a strategic partner to any size CROs, helping them during peaks of activities with resources or professional services.
The trend of this year is that a number of bigger CROs are also considering teaming up with us to use MATRIX EDC. It has the potential to be used internally by these CROs, but is also perfect for their customers. Learn more about MATRIX EDC or contact us directly to make a special request!
There were lots of CDMOs, GMPs, packaging and manufacturing companies, as well as biotech projects. This year lots of Chinese and Indian companies were present.
Our focus was meeting with other CROs to discuss collaboration. Data MATRIX is already working with many CROs and offers them an outsourcing option when they run into peaks of activities or when they are facing tough deadlines. Hiring a high level statistician or SAS programmer on short notice and for a limited period of time is very complex. Our Team is always ready to step in, for a few weeks or months. We also had great discussions with large pharmaceutical companies to have staff available for them all year long.
CPhI is a very tough event to attend, due to its size and number of attendees, but it can be very rewarding. See you next year!
