What did you miss at BIO Latin America 2019, Sao Paulo?

The theme of this year’s conference was “Innovation and Business Partnering as Drivers of the Bioeconomy in Latin America”, with discussions focused on solutions for challenges faced by the Biotech and Life Sciences sector in Latin America.

The two-day event in Sao Paulo, Brazil, gathered quite a number of experts from more than 30 countries: industry leaders, policy makers, entrepreneurs, academics and investors from around the globe, to debate trends and navigate the latest challenges in Brazil and all around the world. Given that healthcare is becoming more personalized, looking for new ways to provide the right treatments to the right patients at the right time, speakers discussed personalized medicine, impacts of technology, and perspectives and drivers for growth for the near future.
