DIA meetings: main biotech events

This April, DIA Europe will take place in Basel, Switzerland. It is a traditional annual meeting in the middle of the spring, and this year’s keynote speaker is George Savage. He will speak about digital revolution at the crossroads of healthcare. His presentation will be followed by a panel discussion. Here are some themes of the meetings: clinical development, data and data standards, patient engagement, pharmacovigilance, preclinical research, regulatory science, translational medicines, and others. The poster session will also take place.

This spring meeting will be a kind of rehearsal for a global DIA Annual Meeting 2018, which will take place in Boston this June. Nora D. Volkow from the National Institute on Drug Abuse will be its’ keynote speaker. Dr. Volkow will discuss the need for development of new molecules and formulations, technologies for stimulation of the brain and neurocircuitry, advances in biofeedback, and unique opportunities for wireless and mobile technologies to assist in pain management. She will also emphasize the importance of public-private partnerships in addressing these issues and how to get involved.

Make sure to meet our team and stop by the booth #1249 at the DIA Annual Meeting 2018.
